Country Manager - ANZ

 

With two major customers in the region and a huge market opportunity, our Silicon Valley headquartered client needed to make a strategic appoint; to give regional representation to manage and reassure their existing installed base, to grow revenues within the accounts and to set up and manage a partner community to reach new name customers. Northbank Partners had extensive track record in their market sector with an extensive network to leverage. Running the search from London and dealing with challenging time zone differences Northbank Partners delivered a small but exceptionally well qualified shortlist that ultimately lead to a successful appointment. Chief Executive Officer

 

Our client was a founder-led fund management software vendor, having grown a successful global customer base of tier 1 financial institutions. Working with the founder and board of directors Northbank Partners brief was to identify a CEO to implement a strategy to protect and maintain their existing revenue streams while driving expansion into new name customers. With most sales being large and implementations long and complex the principle challenge was to have efficient and scalable sales and professional services team. Significant double-digit growth has been achieved, culminating with a well-timed and lucrative trade sale.


Digital Marketing Manager

 

Our client, a PE backed buyside fintech, had gone through a phase of acquisition with eight businesses being merged into the acquiring firm. A new marketing strategy had been defined to bring the various propositions into a coherent stack, with the Digital Marketing Manager appointed to deliver the new narrative to a wide global audience. Reporting into the CMO the appointed candidate brought in digital marketing knowledge that they didn’t previously have and implemented the digital marketing infrastructure.


Project Director

 

Our client is a global leader in SaaS based Treasury & Risk Management software systems. Following an exceptional period of sales success and a change in strategy to bring more PS revenues in-house, the professional services organisation had increased implementation demand. A mid-level management tier to manage clients, projects and teams was created – Northbank Partners ran the search to appoint two Project Directors, one based in UK and the other New York. The change in strategy and the numerous appointments turned around the PS business and restored a reputation of delivering on time and on budget.


Customer Success Manager - US

 

We were engaged by a high growth vendor in the highly competitive accountancy space, to assist in scaling their North American Customer Success team following an unprecedented period of new customer acquisition. We worked with the leadership team to define the regional requirements and to map the market providing valuable remuneration and availability reports. As they were relative newcomers to this space we helped to take their brand to market and identified outstanding talent in key regional areas. Following a comprehensive search they were able to hire in New York, Texas, California and Washington DC.


Managing Director of Sales - US

 

One of our most successful searches was carried out against the backdrop of an extremely challenging market caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Our client was experiencing extremely high demand for their hedge fund focused front office solutions with their sales team having grown by 300% in 18 months without a scalable leadership plan. We were retained to hire a high calibre senior leader from the trading, research or analytics sector on the East Coast. The shortlist process was concluded within 4 weeks and the despite an extremely fast moving market we were able to secure an exceptional leader for their North American team within 2 months of the search inception.


Global Head of Sales

 

Following a change in ownership, our client, a front to back office portfolio management software vendor, implemented a new global management structure to provide a platform for international expansion. Working with the investors and CEO, Northbank Partners helped to define a brief for a Global Head of Sales. With a cross-border geographical remit a shortlist was delivered incorporating candidates from UK, France, Sweden and Germany. Ultimately hiring a London based executive, they continue to roll out their global salesforce expansion.
